I teach 7th and 8th grade Spanish at North Shore. I began teaching in 1998 at Cedarburg High School and joined the staff at North Shore in 2004.
I graduated in 1998 with degrees in Spanish and English as a Second Language from UW-Milwaukee. In 2003, I earned a Master of Arts in History from UW-Eau Claire. My studies focused on the history of Latin America and Spain and also included coursework in Spanish. I have since completed more than 30 graduate credits on topics related to general, international, and technology education.
Participating in continuing education is important to me, as I am constantly looking for ways to improve my instruction and provide a rich learning environment for my students. I strive to support my students’ social and educational growth by providing them with interactive learning experiences to develop their ability to communicate with others in Spanish.
I love traveling in and have been to Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Panama, Mexico, Ecuador, Argentina, Uruguay and Spain.
Please contact me if you would like to discuss the Spanish program at North Shore Middle School.
